Box sash windows
 We
manufacture all types of windows but specialise in traditional
windows with weights and pulleys, double glazed to meet modern
building regulations. By retaining a 22mm wide glazing bar
we ensure our windows always look proportional and traditional.
We use the finest quality materials as standard;
Timber
Wherever possible we ensure that the timber we buy is felled
from a sustainable resource. Our main supplier of timber purchases
93% of their timber from sustainable forests. We use a variety
of species including unsorted Redwood, Mahoganies like Sapele
and Utile, European and American Oak, Yellow Pine , Pitch
Pine and Beech.
Glass
We offer number of different glass types and a variey of
different patterns for both single and double glazed units.
Our standard units are 4:16:4 Pilkington K air filled. You
also have a choice of hand-made, hand-blown or self cleaning
glass should you require. Yo can be assured that all our windows
and glazed doors comply with current Building Regulations.
Factory Paint Finishing
We offer three factory finishes on all our products, preservative,
undercoat and full gloss. All of these procedures have the
advantage of all round paint protection, rather than just
the bits you see. In particular, box sash windows benefit
from this service as they are fully primed all round the box
including the back of the sash - before draft excluder is
fixed in place. We offer a full guarantee for each of our
factory finishing services.
